Esimene Hispaania pitsi maailmakongress CMEE 2015 toimub 7.-10. maini 2015 Hispaanias, Marbella näituste ja kongresside palees. 

Kongressist võtab osa üle 20 riigi. Toimuvad moeetendused rahvusvaheliste noorte disainerite ja ka nende loomingust, kes on juba teinud endale nime moe- ja pitsimaailmas. Kongressi raames korraldatakse konkurss noortele disaineritele Euroopa ja Põhja-Ameerika juhtivatest moekõrgkoolidest. Kongressil on oma väljapanekutega esindatud ka tähtsamad pitsimuuseumid.

Hispaania pitsi maailmakongressil on suur müügisaal, näitused, erikursused, kus õpetavad pitsitegijad ja –õpetajad Hispaaniast ja Euroopast, samuti toimuvad loengud ning 9. mail korraldatakse rahvusvaheline pitsipäev, millel saab osaleda kuni 840 inimest.

The World Congress of Spanish Lace CMEE 2015, will be held on May 7, 8, 9, 10, 2015 at the Palace of Fairs and Congresses of Marbella (Malaga).

More than 20 countries will exhibit their works, there will be runway shows of international young designers and those who have already made their name in the world of fashion and lace.
At the congress there will be also competitions for young designers from the leading universities in Europe and North America.
Also, the most important lace museums will be represented at the congress.
At the congress there will be very interesting trade stands, displays, special courses taught by teachers and lace makers of Spanish and European level, lectures.
On May 9 there will be international day of lace with a maximum capacity of 840 people.

OIDFA ajakiri nr. 4/2014

Täna jõudis postkasti Rahvusvahelise Niplis- ja Nõelpitsi Organisatsiooni (OIDFA) selle aasta viimane number.

Ajakiri algab nagu tavaliselt presidendi läkitusega. Kajsa Borg meenutab Adelaide’i kongressi ning tuletab meelde, et aeg on uuendada liikmesust ja maksta ära järgmise aasta liikmemaks, mis on Euroopas 29 eurot.

Presidendi läkitusele järgneb 2014. aasta peaassamblee raport, mis sisaldab presidendi, peavarahoidja, ajakirja toimetaja ja töögruppide raportit.

Metka Fortuna Sloveeniast kirjutab Idrija pitsikoolist, mis on peamine institutsioon pitsitegemise teadmiste säilitaja, edasiandja ja arendajana.

Laura Rosenberg Soomest kirjutab niplispitsi tegemisest looduslike materjalidega.

Julia Jevsejeva Venemaalt annab ülevaate 2. pitsifestivalist „Vita Lace”, mis leidis aset Vologdas 26.-28. juunini.

2016. aasta OIDFA kongress toimub Sloveenia pealinnas Ljubljanas ning konkursi teemaks on „Noorus”. Konkursi tingimustega saab tutvuda OIDFA ajakirja uues numbris.

Samuti on kirjas OIDFA nõukogu liikmete andmed perioodiks 2014-2016.

Vicky Taylor ja Jenny Rees tutvustavad huvitavat projekti – „Katkestatud rütm – ümber suunatud elu” – niplispitsist piltidega edasi antud lugu maastikupõlengu põhjustatud hävingust ning elu taastumisest.

OIDFA neljanda kvartali väljaandes on ka pikalt kirjutatud 2014. aasta kongressist Austraalias, selle raames korraldatud reisidest ja õpitubadest.

Today I received OIDFA bulletin No 4/2014 – the last issue of this year.

The bulletin starts with the letter of the president – Kajsa Borg who looks back to the congress in Australia and reminds that soon it is time to renew the membership and pay the fee for 2015 – in Europe it is 29 euros.

The letter is followed with the report of general assembly (president’s, treasurer’s, editor’s and work group reports).

Metka Fortuna writes about Idrija Lace School – it is the main institution for preserving, transferring and developing lace-making knowledge in Slovenia.

Laurea Rosenberg from Finland introduces us the world of making bobbin lace from materials in nature.

Julia Evseeva from Russia writes about the second international lace festival „Vita Lace” that took place from June 26-28, 2014 in Vologda.

OIDFA congress in 2016 will take place in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana – the theme of the competition is „Youth”. In this bulletin one can read about the rules of the competition.

Also the list of OIDFA council members for years 2014-2016 is published.

Vicki Taylor and Jenny Rees write about an installation „Rhythm Interrupted – Life Redirected” – a bobbin lace installation that tells a story of devastating bushfire and the subsequent regeneration.
